Right now I am in the middle of my 7 adventures on seven continents. In January, I climbed Aconcagua with my climbing companion and friend Al Hogarth. In March, I started a 800km wilderness hike following the Hayduke Trail. Again, Al Hogarth joined me for the first couple of weeks.
Now I am focussing all my attention on the next three adventures:
1: Running Iceland – This is a 700km run across Iceland. I will be running the first half solo and then, logistics allowing, will be joined by my Towpath Challenge running buddy Raoul Monks.
2: Cycling Australia – This is a 4000km cycle from Melbourne to Darwin. Originally I had planned to cycle across Australia but after more research this looked a more adventurous and beautiful route.
3: Running Madagascar – This is by far the most challenging adventure of the year. In November I will be heading to Madagascar to run from the northern point to the southern point. This will be a 2200km solo run.
