Welcome to my refined hiking set-up. This new list considers everything I have learnt from recent adventures including my 800km of the Hayduke Trail, Aconcagua, Ecuadorian Mountains and Running Iceland.
This is designed to be a compact and lightweight set-up but not at the detriment of comfort and enjoyment. Essentially this would be my kit for returning to finish the Hayduke Trail.
With this set-up you can carry up to 5L of water (though may increase that if water is a concern).
You can easily add about 3-4 days of food.
The clothing is based on mild weather but capable of adapting to cold or wet conditions.
